I build mobile apps, backend systems and self-hosted infrastructure. I don't settle for simply using something; I like to understand how it works and build it end to end.

Featured project

What I am working on right now, built end to end by me.

In development

Aile Cüzdanı

A free, shared household budget app for Turkish families. Add your salary once and see income, expenses, instalments, subscriptions and savings goals on one screen, together with your family. The mobile client, server rules, notification scheduler and tests all live in one project.

Problem

In my competitor review, shared household budget apps were not built for Turkey (no instalments, TRY or local inflation), and Turkish apps were weak on family sharing.

Approach

Instalment progress is derived from the calendar, recurring income is added automatically, and official TÜİK inflation data is used. Access rules are enforced on the server (PocketBase), not in the client.

Result

Income, expenses, instalments, subscriptions, savings goals, category limits and reports all work. It is not in the stores yet; it is in local development and testing.

How I work

Saying it works is not enough; you have to prove it.

Verification first

Nothing counts as done until type checks, linting, unit tests and integration tests against a real server pass.

Written-down decisions

Project state, decisions and runbooks live in files, so nothing depends on memory.

Security scans

Secret leaks, access rules and the password-reset flow are scanned and findings are recorded.

AI-assisted development

I work with Claude Code and check its output with tests and scans.

About me

I'm Yiğit Eren Büyükeren. I develop personal projects across software, systems, self-hosted infrastructure, Raspberry Pi, Android modification, automation, and electronics.

My interests range from PocketBase-based backend systems and services running on Raspberry Pi to Cloudflare and Tailscale infrastructure, web projects, Android root and ROM work, and electronic prototypes.

I don't limit myself to a single field. When a problem catches my interest, I enjoy researching it, building the system end to end, finding its flaws, and turning it into a working result. This site brings together the projects I build, my technical experiments, and what I learn along the way.
